FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Frequently asked questions Tickets Parking Gear Contest Contest Grounds Are fishing passes available on the contest day? Yes, passes are available until 2 PM on the contest day. Non-pre-registered anglers should arrive by 10 AM. Attend the kickoff meeting at 11:30 AM. Can I buy Fishing Passes for my family or friends? Yes! Passes bought under your name can be used by others however, once a pass is redeemed, it cannot be transferred. Each Contestant is allowed to have up to two fishing holes (I.E two tickets max per person). If you buy a fishing pass the day of or if you pre-registered online beforehand - you can pick your fishing passes up at the registration booth before the contest. Does my pass include a raffle entry? No, the raffle requires a separate ticket. Buy raffle tickets separately (Must be 18 years or older to participate). Can I fish without a pass? No, you need your pass to fish and to have your fish weighed. Your pass will be required to be visible at all times during the contest. What if I need to leave my fishing hole? You must pull your line and clear your hole if you leave. Friends or family cannot watch your line. Sharing holes is not allowed and may lead to disqualification. Can I get a fishing pass before the event? Yes, fishing passes can be purchased on our website before the event and can be purchased in-person at the contest until 2pm the day of. More to come in the Forest lake Ice Fishing Classic! 2025 raffle prize list Prizes added leading up to the event *Please Read Full Rules Prior to Entering* Before Purchasing a Raffle Ticket: Raffle ticket sales are conducted in-person only, and purchasers must be 18 years of age or older. Raffle ticket locations or sellers are operated on a voluntary basis, and availability of tickets cannot be guaranteed. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the event. Each raffle ticket is uniquely numbered, with the ticket number printed on the ticket. All raffle activities comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges will be issued. You do not need to be present during the raffle drawing, however we encourage everyone to also attend our fishing contest. Prize Rules: Prizes are non-transferable unless forfeited at the time of the drawing, in which case a re-draw for the prize will occur. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees associated with prize acceptance. The event organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if necessary. Winners not in attendance will be notified using the contact information provided on the ticket at the time of purchase. Winners have 30 days to claim their prizes and settle any applicable fees or taxes. Failure to do so will result in prize forfeiture. Prize Claim Instructions: Prize recipients may be required to complete IRS documentation prior to prize distribution. Taxes and fees associated with significant prizes, such as those involving titles or state tax obligations, must be settled. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the contest; unclaimed prizes after this period will be forfeited. Raffle Drawing Disclaimer: Raffle contestants must be 18 years or older. Tickets must be purchased in-person at participating locations or during the event.
