2025 Ice Fishing CONTEST

Key information​​

1. This is a Bucket-Style Ice Fishing Contest, ensuring it is fair for all ages. 

2. Contestants are required to bring their own gear (Bucket, Ice Cleats, Winter Clothing, Jigs, Line, Fishing Poles, TIp-Ups, Scoops/Buckets). 

3. Houses, portables, hubs and electronics alike are not allowed.​

4. For contest integrity and safety, there will only be 1,000 tickets sold. Secure your spot today!

5. Each ticket corresponds to one fishing hole, so buying two tickets will allow you to fish at two holes.

   • Please note: there is a maximum limit of two holes per participant. 

6. Please plan to purchase live bait on site,  Dry bait is allowed per fishing guidelines (See Section 5: Prohibited Items and Actions).

7. We are requesting that Anglers who are not pre-registered online to check in by 10:00 AM on February 8, 2025.

8. ​Although (L.P) Liquid Propane is allowed, it will not be allowed on the shuttle bus.

9. Valid Fishing License is required. 

 

Parking:

• Parking will not be available at event grounds. 

• Free shuttle buses will operate from Running Aces in Columbus, MN, starting at 9:00 AM.
